WhiteWater West Provides Aquatic Thrills to New Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi

Richmond, BC, Canada — Canada’s WhiteWater West is proud to be the supplier and manufacturer of 12 of 14 complexes for the highly acclaimed Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi. Boasting over 15 hectares, the waterpark opened to the public four days ahead of schedule, on January 20, 2013 and is already proving to be one of the most popular waterparks in the Middle East.  Winner of the World Waterpark Association’s (WWA), “Leading Edge Award” in 2012, Yas Waterworld was built with an investment of $245m and is projected to rake in 700,000 visitors in 2013.
