Whitewater Supplies Two Slide Complexes to Wet ‘n’ Wild Sydney

Sydney, Australia — Australia’s hugely anticipated waterpark opened in December with impressive attendance numbers. Wet’n’Wild Sydney is the first brand new theme park to open since the Movie World in 1991, expecting a visitor count of over 1 million thrill-seekers per year. WhiteWater is proud to be part of the project having designed and constructed two major waterslide complexes for this world-class waterpark.

“Working with Village Road Show’s general manager Chris Warhurst and his team was an absolute pleasure. The expectations were high and the challenges along the way were met with enthusiasm. I feel a great sense of accomplishment having delivered this project on time and on budget and I look forward to working with this client again” comments Michael Ayotte, Project Manager of the Wet’n’Wild project.

WhiteWater’s two complexes include the world-first Whizzard Twist (H2Go Racers), which takes eight mat racer AquaTubes and winds them around each other, propelling riders into a mad race to the finish line! This is accompanied by four dueling AquaLoops (360Rush) for side-by-side fun. The second complex offers riders thrills, chills and a multitude of experiences in an exciting eight waterslide complex that features four MasterBlasters, called The Breakers and Australia’s first Rattler, named the Typhoon.

“Their iconic waterslides continually draw rave reviews and enhance the overall guest experience. These two complexes are a highlight of the park,” said Wet’n’Wild General Manager, Chris Warhurst.
