XD Ride to open at Mall of America

 

XD Ride, known for their state-of-the-art interactive experience, will open this summer at Mall of America®.

Thrill seekers will be strapped into a seat that has a full range of motion to replicate the experience of falling, crashing and flying while sound, wind and light effects ingulf the senses. Equipped with a laser blaster to fend off enemy attack, friends and family will feel as if they are a part of the game while also competing for a high score.

Located on level 1, East, XD Ride will feature a variety of thrilling and immersive adventures including saving the planet from alien robots, battling blood thirsty zombies, outsmarting bandits in the wild west, and plenty more exciting scenarios.

XD Ride will also offer their first VR Maze. Guests will use state-of-the-art VR goggles to explore their way through an immersive virtual world of an expanding game library including Assassin’s Creed and Rabbids by Ubisoft.

“Mall of America continues to bring exciting first-to-market concepts to our growing mix of attractions,” said VP of Leasing Carrie Charleston. “XD Ride offers guests a thrilling sense of adventure for friends and family of all ages.”

XD Ride is based in Houston, TX and currently has locations in Houston and Dallas. Price points for each adventure will be around $12 along with combined package deals. XD Ride also offers party packages as well as corporate events for up to 50 people.
