Holovis announces it will be opening a new management and project office in Abu Dhabi on October 1, 2020 at the TwoFour54 media and entertainment hub.
Holvois CEO Stuart Hetherington explained: “After working in the GCC for over a decade, and with plenty of large-scale projects in progress and in our pipeline, it makes perfect sense to set-up a permanent new home in such a creative and exciting part of the region. We can’t wait to get started!“
Holovis has previously been heavily involved with project work on FerrariWorld Abu Dhabi, and helped create various rides and attractions for Dubai Resorts and Parks.
Holovis are also currently also actively engaged in work across the GCC region, and its wider client base includes the likes of Universal, LEGOLAND, Comcast and Hyundai.
Peter Cliff, Holovis Creative Director, added: “In these difficult times, Abu Dhabi and the surrounding area has continued to invest in the type of visitor attractions which we specialize in. It’s the perfect base for us to conduct our work in the region. Having permanent local staff can only help build on the excellent relationships we already have with our existing clients.”
Holovis was recently named Company of the Year at the AV Technology Awards, and also created the Crowd Solo app, which has helped theme parks and attractions re-open safely in the wake of COVID-19.
