Thorpe Park’s SWARM Now Flies In Reverse

72323_10151500864680867_1786351598_nChertsey, UK (March 14, 2013) — Starting today, guests can experience a world first in 2013 as you are challenged to take a death-defying flight in reverse on the UK’s first winged rollercoaster – THE SWARM – at the nations “Thrill Capital” THORPE PARK. With selected seats now facing backwards, will you attack THE SWARM head on? OR take a relentless ride in reverse?

Fearless riders who brave it backwards won’t know what’s coming as they spin 180° and plunge 127ft towards the wing of a genuine plane wreckage. Leaving no time to recover, THE SWARM will then hurtle towards a “terrifying new near-miss, ripping through the mangled metal of a devastated billboard” before taking riders within inches of rotating helicopter blades and a flaming fire truck.

There are over 25 other rides and attractions to enjoy at the Park, from SAW – The Ride and Stealth to Rush and Quantum. PLUS from 28th March guests can go from dream to scream in 60 seconds as ‘portable’ hotel The Crash Pad arrives making THORPE PARK an overnight destination for the first time – along with two action packed days on Park, guests will enjoy cutting-edge entertainment and breakfast all included.
