The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) has launched TEA Digital to use the organization’s dedicated, global platforms and online channels to support its membership with education, professional development, discussion and networking. The program will support online discussion threads, webinars, watch parties, virtual mixers and more – including an online job fair.
“In keeping with our culture of networking and teamwork, TEA Digital offers multiple forums to connect, learn and identify opportunities,” says TEA International Board President Michael Blau. “TEA represents the creators of compelling places and experiences for the worldwide visitor attractions industry, such as theme parks, museums, visitors centers and world expos.”
“This is an opportunity for all of our members to become more digitally engaged,” said TEA Chief Operating Officer Jennie Nevin. “With TEA Digital, we continue to support the community as the association has done for three decades, since its founding in 1991 – to stay strong and connected, and in touch with the changing face of our industry as we look forward to eventual recovery.”
The TEA Digital program kicked off on March 20 with TEA Chats on the TEA LinkedIn Group; the rollout will continue with TEA Tuesday digital mixers, TEA Wednesday Webinars, TEA #TBT (Throwback Thursday) watch parties hosted by industry celebrities, and a TEA Digital Job Fair, using established TEA social media channels on LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube (TEA TV) and other digital platforms.
“We will tap into our best and brightest,” said Michael Blau, “– TEA leaders and masters of their craft, and others in our brain trust. We will tap our extensive archives from the TEA Summit, TEA SATE conferences and the TEA Thea Awards, and the library of TEA publications. We will create relevant new content as well.”
TEA Global Headquarters in Burbank, California is producing and managing content for TEA Digital initiative with creative input from the association’s worldwide network of volunteer leaders.
