The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) has announced that nominations for the 31st Annual Thea Awards program are open now through July 5, 2024.
The Thea Awards celebrate excellence in the creation of compelling places and experiences. They recognize innovation in the themed entertainment and international visitor attractions industry and reinforce the value of experience design and themed entertainment approaches to engaging people worldwide.
Each year, hundreds of submissions are received and considered by the TEA Thea Awards Judging Committee for outstanding destination attractions, breakthrough technology, event spectaculars, cultural attractions or guest experiences, as well as for individuals who have made their mark through a lifetime of distinguished achievements.
To be considered for the 31st annual judging cycle, projects must have opened or the event have taken place between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2024.
Award recipients will be announced in November later this year. The award ceremony will occur on March 15, 2025 in Universal City, California, at the 31st Annual Thea Awards Gala.
