Global scenic design, fabrication and installation leader Adirondack Studios (ADKS) has appointed Annabella Colletti in the newly created role of VP of Business Operations. Colletti joins the executive leadership team as ADKS celebrates five decades in business and reassesses its organizational structure to secure a successful future.
With over 20 years as a strategy and operations leader in the entertainment industry, Colletti has developed a proven record of accomplishment in building strong teams, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and leading large-scale, multi-million-dollar initiatives. Her experience spans the art departments of film and television through to corporate management, grounded in an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s renowned Wharton School of Business. Throughout her career, she has led high profile, multi-year projects for such clients as SeaWorld and Princess Cruises, and in her most recent role as VP of Operations at In Motion Entertainment, Colletti drove the company’s growth through strategic infrastructure development and streamlined operations.
At ADKS, Colletti will oversee critical operational departments to drive internal excellence, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Contract Administration, and Facilities. She will also refine workflow and processes across departments to improve overall efficiency and support ADKS’ strategic growth, aligning the company’s internal operations with its long-term goals. By driving cross-functional collaboration, she hopes to help build a cohesive internal structure that fosters creative solutions while enabling teams to deliver projects of the highest quality.
“I’m thrilled to join a globally renowned company like Adirondack Studios at such an important time in its history, where operational excellence is essential to supporting the studios’ growth and creative vision,” said Colletti. “In my new role, I’m eager to strengthen and develop our departments and processes so teams can focus on imagination over administration.”
“When we announced our yearlong 50th Anniversary celebration a few weeks ago, I mentioned that we were engaging in a number of initiatives to future proof our company for our next phase of growth, and hiring Annabella is the perfect example of that,” said Michael Blau, ADKS President/Principal. “Her MBA degree, her experience working in multiple business sectors from Marketing to Design to Finance, and her systems and solutions mindset make her the natural choice for this new and evolving executive role.”
