Attractions Technology Lab returns on Nov. 14 & 15

On November 14 and 15 in Orlando, Oceaneering will be hosting the Attractions Technology Lab (ATL), a collaborative event between Alcorn McBride, Christie, Garner Holt Productions, Oceaneering and Weigl Control, founding partners of the Attractions Technology Collaborative.

InPark Publisher Martin Palicki visited the Attractions Technology Lab demonstration in 2021, where guests had the chance to ride an simulated dark ride.

This unique event will feature a “choose your own adventure” dark ride experience, complete with trackless vehicles to create a technical mockup of a complete attraction. A suite of Christie visual technology, including new Griffyn 4K50-RGB 50,000 lumen pure laser projectors, M 4K25 RGB pure laser projectors, GS Series laser projectors, Mystique camera-based alignment software, Pandoras Box Compact Players, and Pandoras Box Servers, will be used as part of this hands-on experience. Engineers from each company will be available to answer questions.

Tours of Oceaneering’s facility will also be available, as well as training from Alcorn McBride, Christie, Garner Holt Productions and Weigl Control. ATL hours are open-house style and visitors can choose to attend on either day. Registration is required.
