SeaWorld Parks and Litton Entertainment Partner on New Animal Rescue Show

Burbank, CA, USA (March 21, 2012) /PRNewswire/ — SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and Litton Entertainment today announced a partnership to launch Sea Rescue, a new, half-hour weekly TV series hosted by environmental journalist and Good Morning America weather anchor Sam Champion.

Sea Rescue will debut on April 7, 2012, and will be broadcast nationally on Saturday mornings during Litton’s Weekend Adventure, a three-hour block of six series airing on 95 percent of the country’s ABC Affiliates following Good Morning America in most markets.

Singapore (March 21, 2012) — Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will launch a loyalty programme with a gamut of resort-wide privileges unparalleled within any single destination in Singapore. Designed to reward card members for their patronage, the RWS INVITES card will strengthen the Resort’s position as the destination of choice with its palette of attractions, lifestyle and dining options. 

To be officially launched on 1 April 2012, RWS is Singapore’s first integrated resort to launch a separate non-gaming card membership with a dedicated rewards programme for its loyal guests, and timed to coincide with the completion of the integrated resort.     South Street Seaport Opens Titanic Exhibit on 100th Anniversary of Fatal Voyage

    New York, NY, USA (March 20, 2012) /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — On April 10, 2012, the one hundredth anniversary of RMS Titanic’s launch on her maiden – and only – voyage, the South Street Seaport Museum will open “Titanic,” an exhibition that examines both the disaster and a century’s worth of fascination with the ship’s dramatic story.

    The exhibition will feature original historic objects and documents from Titanic and her passengers, as well as interactive elements and artifacts that show how the event has been remembered and interpreted in popular culture, including production items ranging from the 1953 film Titanic starring Barbara Stanwyck through to the most current interpretation, the upcoming four-part ABC miniseries, Titanic, written by Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park ) scheduled to air April 14 and 15, 2012.

    Specialty Group Creates Beanbag Cinema For Children’s Hospital

    Melbourne, Australia (March 20, 2012) /PRWEB/ — Specialty Cinema worked seamlessly with The Hoyts Corporation Pty Ltd and a variety of well-know cinema industry suppliers to provide a new ‘Bean Bag Cinema’ for patients, their families and carers to enjoy at the new Royal Children’s Hospital Parkville site. The Bean Bag Cinema was part of the broader ‘Community Partnership’ program at RCH which includes an enclosure for meerkats and an aquarium.

    “We are very proud to be involved with this project. The Royal Children’s Hospital is one of the leading paediatric hospitals in the world. We feel quite honoured to have made just a small contribution to the quality of care that RCH provides” said Brian Ross, General Manager, Specialty Cinema who supervised the project.

    Libby Starr, General Manager of Facilities and Projects at Hoyts said “The cinema has been very popular with the children and the hospital has provided lots of positive feedback”. She also thanked Brian and the team at Specialty Cinema for helping to bring the Bean Bag Cinema to fruition.

    Specialty Cinema manufactured and supplied the comfortable bean bag seats used by the young cinema patrons. Specialty also installed the cinema screen, screen frame, and speakers, as well as manufacturing the acoustic wall drapes and projection ports that completed this state-of-the art cinema.

    The first patients moved into the new RCH on 30 November, 2011. This was an extremely complex procedure and was many months in planning by dedicated staff at the RCH. Patients, families and carers were able to enjoy the new Bean Bag Cinema from that date.
