Camelback Resort announces April opening dates for top attractions

Camelback Resort is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. Just two hours from Philadelphia and 90 minutes from New York City, in April the resort will open four of its spring and summer main attractions, as well as introduce two new Sky Flyer “Superman” 4,000-foot ziplines – the longest in Pennsylvania.

Featuring an exciting 4,500 feet of steel track with passenger cars that zoom thrilled riders down the steep slopes of Camelback Mountain, the Mountain Coaster will on Friday, April 7.

Saturday, April 15, sees the opening of the 1,000-foot Double Barrel Zipline delivering a what Camelback Resort describes as a “heart-pounding experience as zipliners are harnessed up and then sail through and over the trees, up to eight stories above the ground.

Two new Sky Flyer Superman 4,000-foot ziplines will open on Saturday, April 15 giving zippers the experience of “flying like the man of steel himself”.

The Mountain Segway/UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) Tour – an off-road excursion that takes travelers through the forest to experience spectacular views and delivers a special visual perspective of the Poconos – will open on Saturday, April 29.
