Data cloud platform CineMetrics is now available for planetariums, museums and more

CineMetrics, a Nevada-based SaaS company, announced the availability of its cloud platform that standardizes attendance and box office reporting for museums, planetariums, independent film venues and specialty cinemas worldwide. The CineMetrics system streamlines data entry for exhibitors and delivers real-time, aggregated insights that help producers, distributors and operators make faster, better programming, marketing and financial decisions.

For some giant screen and dome theaters venues, a centralized way to measure performance is missing. Reporting is often manual, inconsistent and slow. CineMetrics seeks to solve this with a secure, cloud-based workflow that improves accuracy, protects data ownership and establishes an industry-wide benchmark for attendance and revenue performance.

CineMetrics provides:

  • Unified box office tools to capture and manage show/attendance data.
  • Real-time performance insights that translate raw numbers into actionable dashboards and trends.
  • Simplified reporting that produces clean, consistent updates in less time.
  • Streamlined invoicing to reduce manual work for theaters and partners.
  • Trusted data ownership so each organization keeps control of its information.

CineMetrics is co-founded by Tina Ratterman, a long-time giant screen and planetarium distribution/marketing executive, and Oumar Willane, a Cloud Solutions Architect and Certified AWS Developer with 20+ years of experience in cloud computing, analytics and enterprise reporting.

“We built CineMetrics™ to replace outdated reporting workflows and give theaters, distributors and producers real-time visibility into film performance and royalties,” said Ratterman. “It’s a simpler, faster path to accurate box office data and valuable insights everyone can trust.”

More than 55 theaters are already using CineMetrics. With new features now available, CineMetrics is partnering with the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) to provide reduced subscription rates for members of the GSCA.

“Our industry has world-class creative and technical talent, but we’ve been operating without a clear, shared picture of our performance,” says Tammy Barrett, GSCA Executive Director. “Reliable, standardized data helps every theater, producer, and distributor make smarter decisions, build stronger funding cases, and demonstrate the real impact of giant screen experiences.”
