The Village Québécois d’Antan (VQA) is a historical village and living museum where history, technology and traditions come together to provide visitors with an unforgettable time-traveling experience. Throughout the year, the Village offers exciting seasonal activities to appeal to audiences of all ages. For the 2023 season, they are offering a new summer experience that has been completely reimagined, blending centuries-old traditions with modern innovations provided by Moment Factory to create an exceptional temporal adventure that takes visitors into the heart of the 19th century. In the fall, the Village offers a spooky Haunted Village as well as daytime activities that delight visitors young and old. In the winter, the Village immerses visitors in the magical atmosphere of Christmas with the Desjardins Illuminated Village, while springtime brings the tasty experience of an authentic Quebec sugar shack. In addition to their seasonal activities, the Village offers reception spaces to host corporate events, weddings, family reunions and other gatherings.
The Village Québécois d’Antan will be using the Konnect all-in-one attractions management platform to increase sales of tickets and season passes with a unified system for eCommerce, point-of-sale, access control and more. They will also be using Konnect’s marketing & CRM integration with ActiveCampaign to help drive revenue and re-engage with visitors. This direct integration makes it possible for the village to deliver automated and personalized 1:1 communication based on real-time eCommerce data from Konnect.
“Connect&GO’s platform is on the cutting-edge of technology and fully tailored to our unique needs in the tourism industry,” said Stéfany Duguay, Director of Communications & Marketing. “With Connect&GO, we can offer an exceptional user experience that matches what we strive to provide to all our guests at the Village Québécois d’Antan.”
Unlike legacy technology that keeps data siloed and systems separate, Connect&GO’s all-in-one attractions management platform (aptly named Konnect) provides one centralized system for managing eCommerce, point-of-sale, food & beverage, RFID access control and cashless payments with data flowing freely in real-time. Additionally, the platform integrates with over 12 other partner systems to help operators create frictionless experiences and capitalize on unique growth opportunities.
“We’re honored to help The Village Québécois d’Antan provide a modern and frictionless experience through next-generation technology,” said Dominic Gagnon, CEO of Connect&GO. “Our focus is to help our clients grow their revenue and maximize guest engagement with the most innovative all-in-one platform for the attractions industry.”
Connect&GO recently announced a new expansion of their Series A funding round with over $25 Million raised to help disrupt the attractions industry, after closing new deals with Wild Water Adventure Park in California and Canyon Sainte-Anne in Canada.
