Cuningham announced the appointment of Dan Olic as the firm’s new Chief Operating Officer. Olic will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future, enhancing operations efficiency, improving project delivery, and delivering value to clients.

“I joined Cuningham in 2018 because of their inspiring past, exceptional people, and a body of work that is truly reflective of its purpose,” Olic said. “We make people’s lives better through the power of design. I look forward to working with our team to redefine and push the boundaries of what a high-performance design firm can be. “

“I appreciate Dan’s enthusiasm for our firm to continue to evolve and improve and am looking forward to him applying this energy toward his new appointment of COO, supporting an even brighter future for Cuningham,” said Principal and Executive Director Amy Cheever.

Previously Olic was Cuningham’s Director of Project Delivery, building and facilitating high-performing, cross-functional teams. His passion for alternative project delivery, lean design and construction, emerging design technologies, and collaboration has driven innovation and delivered exceptional value to clients. His keen interest in the business side of architecture has ensured projects consistently perform at high levels without compromising design quality.

Olic brings over 25 years of experience managing large-scale, technical projects across a wide range of market sectors, including healthcare, large scale mixed-use, hospitality, high-rise residential, and retail. Before his tenure at Cuningham, Olic held senior technical and project manager roles at HDR, SOM, and HOK, where he honed his skills in project delivery and team leadership.
