Elev8 Fun has opened just outside of Orlando, Florida, in Sanford’s Seminole Towne Center. Taking over what was formerly a Sears location, the space occupies more than 125,000 square feet and two floors of activities at the family entertainment center.
The Sanford location will serve as the concept’s flagship, but there are plans to grow Elev8 Fun across the state, filling empty space in shopping malls to create experiential community destinations.
“We’re so excited to be part of the Sanford community,” said David Goldfarb, president and founder of PrimeTime Amusements, a partner in the Elev8 Fun project. “We hope that this concept can take a formerly unused space and turn it into a go-to place for everyone from families to young couples to companies looking for a fun outing. We can’t wait to show off all of our awesome attractions.”
Attractions include a range of activities from a custom-designed go-kart track to an arcade with more than 200 vintage and modern games, simulators and more. Elev8 Fun also features 5,000 square feet of laser tag space, 12 bowling lanes and a ropes course.
The venue also hosts a full-service restaurant and multiple bars with an extensive menu. In addition, the entertainment center includes meeting rooms and private event space.
