Entire Collection of Swiss Doll Museum Up For Auction

Annapolis, MD, USA (June 6, 2012) /PRNewswire/ — Theriault’s, a global leader in the auction of antique dolls, toys, teddy bears, and automata, has been selected by the prestigious Spielzeugmusem Davos of Switzerland to conduct an auction of the entire Museum collection gathered over 30-years by founderAngela Prader.

The Museum, which has long been a fixture of the Swiss city that also hosts The World Economic Forum each year, was recently nominated in 2010 as a European Museum of the Year.

Founded by Swiss collector, Angela Prader, the museum has graced the center of town for decades and hosted tens of thousands of visitors including a number of world dignitaries.

Theriault’s, the Annapolis, MD based auction house, will conduct an important event that will offer all of the 700 items from the museum in a special auction being held in New Orleans on July 22, 2012 at the Westin Canal Place Hotel.
