Europa-Park is kicking off its anniversary season with the pre-opening on March 15 and the official start of the season on March 22. Germany’s largest theme park will then be open again daily from 9 a.m. to at least 6 p.m.
In 2025, not only does Germany’s largest theme park celebrate its 50th anniversary, but also half a century of experiences and emotions together. With special offers and events, as well as a new family attraction and an animation film being released worldwide, Mack family – owners of the park – are celebrating their business’ story the whole year round.
The new interactive 3D dark ride GRAND PRIX EDventure offers exciting play fun at a new level: Guests join Ed & Edda, the stars of Europa-Park, on their journey across Europe and become members of their racing crew in the Gameplay Theater. State-of-the-art multimedia integration and lovingly themed staging make sure the whole family finds themselves in the world of the animated adventure GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE. Just in time for the 50-year anniversary season, the popular mascots Ed & Edda take the big screen for the first time on July 24.
Under the moto “Experience.Europe.Together.,” the European idea is put into focus at Germany’s largest theme park. Guests can enjoy an unforgettable journey through Europe, during which numerous themed parties with culture and cuisine from different European countries await them, spread out over the summer. Alongside a new parade with floats and dancers in colourful costumes, the Golden Jubilee offers spectacular performances with the Europa-Park artistes. On July 12, Germany’s largest theme park’s birthday, and August 23, when the 10th birthday of the Europa-Park JUNIOR CLUB will be celebrated, visitors will be able to enjoy show and ride fun until midnight.
For those wishing to throw themselves into the waves, the Rulantica water world, open all year, offers numerous slides as well as a large wave pool and the wild river “Vildstrøm,” to name just a few highlights. From early summer, visitors to the water world can dive into the new “Svømmepøl” and swim a few laps. The large heated pool in the outdoor area offers not only a swim-up bar but also Nordic highlights such as geysers and a grotto with bubble loungers. Guests get to experience an exciting journey for the senses at Eatrenalin. The fine dining restaurant proves impressive with interplay of high-quality top cuisine under the leadership of star-chef chef Alexander Mayer, with visual and acoustic as well as haptic experiences.
