Game Volt, provider of tech-enhanced social gaming solutions, has completed the installation of its 75th Supercharged Shuffleboard. This blend of tradition and technology has proven to be popular, with over 3 million pucks thrown across Supercharged Shuffle installations worldwide.
Supercharged Shuffleboard integrates advanced technology to the classic game of shuffleboard, allowing for automated scoring, multiple game modes and regular content updates. It has featured in a significant rollout with leading entertainment brand Dave & Buster’s in the U.S. within its reimagined “future of play” destinations. Competitive socializing is a core component of its “eatertainment” offering and multiple Supercharged Shuffles have already been installed in 17 Dave & Buster’s locations across the U.S., with an additional 12 installations planned for 2024.
Matt Daly, Partnerships Manager at Game Volt says: “Socialization has been gamified! The rise of competitive socializing has transformed how people interact and spend their leisure time. Our Supercharged Shuffleboard has accelerated this trend by providing an experience that is not only fun and engaging but also delivers significant value to operators.
“This lucrative business model differentiates venues in a competitive market and significantly boosts revenue streams. We’ve seen one of our U.K. clients generate a £30,000 (nearly $39,400) increase in just one month with three Supercharged Shuffleboard tables, demonstrating the substantial ROI potential and power”.
The Supercharged Shuffle’s compact footprint, about half the size of a traditional shuffleboard table, makes it suitable for smaller spaces, such as those typically occupied by darts oches.
