Intamin’s LSM launch system has been adapted into a vertical iteration. The first coaster Storm Coaster already opened in Dubai at the Dubai Hills Mall.
This system allows for vertical launches up to high speeds and accelerations while remaining customizable to site requirements. This configuration allows riders to gain height quickly in locations where space is tight and launch straight into ride elements. The anti-rollback system ensures maximum safety and a smooth evacuation process in case of emergency, bringing the train smoothly and safely back to a stop.
