64 Total Nights of Fireworks Starts May 28, 29
Kings Dominion and Water Works Begin Daily Operations
DOSWELL, Virginia, USA May 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Summer is around the corner and Kings Dominion is turning up the heat with the popular roller coaster Intimidator™ 305. Kings Dominion and Water Works waterpark will kick-start the summer with daily operations and the first two nights of “Nights of Fire” during Memorial Day Weekend on May 28.
A sure sign that summer has arrived is the opening of Kings Dominion’s Water Works waterpark, a 20-acre water playland. Starting Saturday, May 28 guests can ride the tallest, the fastest, the most-thrilling and the HOTTEST roller coasters in the Mid-Atlantic, and then COOL off in the endless wave-pools and water-slides of Water Works. All the excitement of 15 roller coasters and a 20-acre waterpark is included with one admission ticket to Kings Dominion or a Season Pass.
To help celebrate the Memorial Day Weekend and the brave men and women of the Armed Forces, Kings Dominion will light up the skies with an amazing display of fireworks on May 28 and May 29 that is set to patriotic music. This dazzling pyrotechnic marvel is the first two days of Kings Dominion’s Nights of Fire, which is 64 nights of Fireworks! Nights of Fire begins nightly June 18 – Aug 14 and also includes August 20, 27 and September 3-4.
Kings Dominion is currently open every Friday – Sunday in May and will begin daily operation Friday, May 27. Water Works waterpark opens daily on Saturday, May 28.
