Los Angeles, CA, USA — Festival passes are available now for the 10th Annual LA 3-D Movie Festival, to be held on Friday, December 13th through Sunday, December 15th, 2013, at the Downtown Independent Theater. The festival will showcase a selection of new international 3-D shorts in competition, special presentations, and the 55th Hollywood International Exhibition of Stereo Photography. Saturday night at the festival will feature the LA 3-D Club Holiday Party including a reception with food, and a program of family-friendly 3-D puppet films presented in partnership with the Los Angeles Guild of Puppetry.

This year’s festival marks the 10th time that the LA 3-D Club has brought the best new independent 3-D motion pictures to audiences in Los Angeles. The club held it’s first competion for 3-D short films in March 1997, and subsequent events were held over the next decade. The LA 3-D Movie Festival became an annual event in May 2009, when the 7th version of the fest found it’s home at the Downtown Independent theater, downtown Los Angeles’ premiere venue for screening independent film and video. Throughout the year, we present regular monthly curated 3-D screenings, presentations and events, culminating with the LA 3-D Movie Festival, now held every December.

Festival Gold Passes give priority admission to all festival events during the weekend. Festival passes cost $40 to the public, but current LA 3-D Club members can use a special discount code to receive $15 off. To receive the member discount, send an email to [email protected] with “Discount Code” in the subject and your full name in the body to request your personal password.

The complete festival program will be announced next week. All festival events will be held at the Downtown Independent Theater, 251 S. Main Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90012. For the schedule and online ticket sales, visit the festival website, www.LA3DFest.com
