PGAV Destinations promotes Tom Marschner and Dan O’Neill

PGAV Destinations celebrates two career milestones, as Tom Marschner is promoted to Vice President and Dan O’Neill advances to Director of Land Planning and Design.

“These advancements are well deserved for Tom and Dan, who have continued to expand their roles and have shown exceptional initiative in project leadership,” said Mike Konzen, CEO of PGAV Destinations. “Tom’s new role will enable us to continue to build our portfolio of zoo and aquarium projects as we continue to tackle large-scale resort, entertainment, attraction, and mixed-use projects both in the U.S. and abroad.”

Since joining PGAV in 2005, Marschner has led multiple projects designing new habitats, renovating existing destinations, and master planning for the future. Working on a variety of projects during his time at PGAV, Marschner found his passion in zoos and aquariums. He has honed his skills in designing immersive and innovative habitats for animals while providing educational and memorable experiences for guests.

Marschner stated, “I’m honored to become a Vice President at PGAV. I’ve dedicated my career to working closely with our zoo and aquarium partners and PGAV colleagues to create world-class habitats and guest experiences. As Vice President, I’m excited to be able to expand and continue that work.”

O’Neill has been with PGAV for nearly 18 years, bringing his passion for design, art, and the great outdoors to life through landscape architecture. O’Neill’s portfolio at PGAV includes various Planners and Destinations roles that have granted him insight into each component necessary for creating successful results.

O’Neill added, “I’m excited for the opportunity to expand and strengthen my role at PGAV. As the Director of Land Planning and Design, I look forward to continuing to drive the creation of outdoor environments while further growing client relationships and fostering PGAV’s internal talent.”

“Our zoo and aquarium projects, along with large-scale land development projects, have steadily grown in recent years. Enhancing the leadership roles of Tom and Dan will enable us to achieve the next level of design innovation and allow us to serve our clients better,” Konzen added.
