Polin Aquariums completes Al Qana’s National Aquarium, measuring over 59,000 square feet and with over 1 million gallons of water habitat

Polin Aquariums recently completed the largest aquarium in the Middle East. Located in Al Qana, The National Aquarium is one of the 11 Anchors situated in the entertainment and experience center.

Home to more than 45,000 animals with 60 different exhibits, National Aquarium is the Middle East’s largest aquarium with its 10 zones standing over 5,500-square-meter (around 59,000-square-foot) floor area. The journey starts with UAE’s national treasures and tells the stories of pearl divers. Then, guests move to the Red Sea Wreck where they experience the Red Sea’s biodiversity. Atlantic Cave holds the secrets of the Atlantic Ocean and Sub Zone follows Atlantic with its submarine theming and its deep sea creatures. The Ring of Fire leads guests toward a volcanic cave, and following that, Ocean Magic will uncover the secrets of oceans. In Frozen Ocean, puffins accompany the guests and in the flooded forest the journey will continue from rivers to the seas.

Finally, Bu Tinah Island, the main feature of National Aquarium of Abu Dhabi, a tunnel with 55 meters (592 feet) length and 5,000 cubic meters (1,321,000 gallons) volume welcome guests. With its 5-meter (16.5-foot) depth, it allows guests to experience a dive into the aquarium.
