Ryman Arts, one of Southern California’s leading youth arts organizations and a longtime incubator for emerging talent in the creative and themed entertainment industries, has launched its year-end fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $65,000 by December 31. Funds will support free, college-level studio art classes, college and career guidance, alumni programming, and expanded opportunities across four campuses serving diverse high school artists.
This year’s campaign, 35 Years of Creativity and Counting, celebrates Ryman Arts’ milestone anniversary and the accomplishments that are shaping its next era. In 2025, Ryman Arts expanded access for young artists, deepened community partnerships, and grew its alumni programming to strengthen long-term creative pathways. Nearly 90% of students identify as youth of color with many coming from low-income households making access to free, college-level arts education more essential than ever.
“Ryman Arts has always believed in the transformative power of creativity,” said David Price, Board President. “For 35 years, this program has nurtured young artists who go on to shape the visual and creative world around us. As we close this milestone year, every contribution helps us ensure that the next generation of creative leaders continues to have access to the opportunities they deserve.”
Ryman Arts serves over 550 students annually across three campuses – Cal State Fullerton, Otis College of Art & Design, and USC Roski School of Art & Design – and will expand to a fourth campus at Cal State San Bernardino in 2026, increasing access for students in the Inland Empire. The organization also provides community engagement to more than 1,300 youth, maintains a 96% college enrollment rate among graduating seniors, and supports a growing alumni network through mentorship, workshops, and career development.
Earlier this year, Ryman Arts was selected as an LA2050 grantee to launch pLAtform, a digital arts and creative careers initiative debuting in 2026. This initiative will connect alumni with emerging digital tools, industry mentors, and real studio environments that align with their future creative career pathways, reflecting Ryman Arts’ dedication to preparing young artists for careers in animation, immersive design, visual development, and other expanding creative fields.
Audrey Salzburg, Executive Director shared, “We believe deeply in the potential of young people, and their talent deserves every opportunity to grow. Our students are the future artists, designers, and storytellers who will shape the next generation of creative experiences, and we’re honored to support their journey. We hope you’ll join us in championing the next generation of creative leaders.”
