Taking place in Kansas City from October 11-14, this year’s TEA SATE North America conference review what the past has taught us, engage in the lessons of those that influence us, take a risk on future innovations, and create the next generation of experiences.
As Walt Disney once said: “Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious … and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
A spokesperson for the TEA said: “As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney moving to Los Angeles, let’s celebrate all the great origin stories and the people that influence us and the industry. Let us discuss how the past informs the future and how art and storytelling are the DNA of innovation.
Call for presentations now open
Using the conference theme as a lens, the program will address how Storytelling, Architecture, and Technology unite in the creation of compelling Experiences (S+A+T=E).
As they explore Origins and Influencers: The people, places and ideas that shape our industry, speakers are encouraged to also consider:
- Navigating cultural differences
- Community engagement
- Mixed use spaces
- Cause-driven experiential marketing
- Cultural authenticity
- Global perspectives
Inclusive processes and experiences
Speakers are invited to speak at SATE because they are industry experts, trend-setters, and specialists in their field and on the topic being presented. The most successful presenters are those that take a broader look at what is happening inside and outside the industry to share projects and developments that will illustrate the theme as it relates to their topic.
