Semnox implements its Tixera Park and Attractions Solutions in the UK

Semnox, has successfully implemented its Tixera Park and Attraction Solutions at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, located in the picturesque UK coastal town of Great Yarmouth.

The partnership is said to have transformed the amusement park’s operations, bringing
enhanced convenience, automation, and valuable data insights to both staff and visitors.

Prior to adopting Semnox’s innovative solutions, Blackpool Pleasure Beach relied on traditional methods such as metal tokens and paper bands for their park operations. The manual processes involved in managing these systems required considerable human effort,
including counting tokens and manually validating membership cards.

Need for modernization

Recognizing the need for modernization and operational streamlining, Pleasure Beach decided to implement Semnox’s advanced technology.

“The response from our customers and staff after the system’s implementation has been
very positive, with great customer feedback and staff finding the system easy to use after
initial training,” said Jamie Jones, Executive Director of Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach.

Key elements of the Tixera Park and Attraction Solutions installed at Pleasure Beach include
10 access control gates with an entry validation system, more than 30 XTER Readers at ride locations, annual membership management software with photo validation, online and on- site attraction bookings, and seven self-service kiosks throughout the park for easy and
convenient purchasing.

By automating key processes and minimizing manual efforts, the park’s management and
staff now have more time to focus on strategic promotions and development, driving growth and enhancing the overall visitor experience. Semnox’s holistic solutions also provided Pleasure Beach with comprehensive reporting, enabling better decision-making.
