One of three endangered Malayan tiger cubs, born at Busch Gardens(R) Tampa on Sunday, March 31 receives a checkup at the park. The births are critical to help preserve the species as scientists estimate that only 500 remain in the wild. In approximately one month, the Busch Gardens(R) animal care team will start introducing the cubs, two males and one female, to the Jungala habitat (www.jungala.com). The births are part of park’s partnership in the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan(R) (SSP). (PRNewsFoto/Busch Gardens Tampa)
