Triotech’s latest interactive dark ride is set to be installed at Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC)’s new theme park Six Flags Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia, the first Six Flags park to be designed and built outside of North America.
Triotech has been chosen to design, engineer, manufacture and install this bespoke interactive dark ride. The exclusive media content will be crafted entirely by Triotech’s in-house studio in Montreal. Situated in the Discovery Springs area, this immersive experience will span over 2,400 square meters (26,000 square feet).
“Our global leadership in interactive experiences and our proven track record in providing turnkey attractions positioned us to help deliver a unique ride for Six Flags Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia,” mentioned Ernest Yale, President and CEO of Triotech. He added: “Our dedicated team is excited to be involved in such a unique and ground-breaking endeavor!”
In this interactive dark ride, guests will journey into the deep on a thrilling underwater expedition to help restore the beauty and wonder to life below. Using Triotech’s proprietary ride system, visitors will ride in 4-player carts featuring fast rotation and rapid acceleration. As they sit side-by-side, every player will experience a non-obstructed view. With over nine interactive media-based scenes and special effects, the experience is designed to captivate participants of all ages.
Six Flags Qiddiya City will serve to be a key entertainment attraction for Qiddiya City and the city of Riyadh. The theme park will cover an area of 320,000 square meters and will feature 28 rides and attractions of which 10 will be thrill rides, with 18 rides designed for families and young children.
