2019 Leadership Symposium for Seasonal Attractions to be hosted by Gaylord Palms

The Third Annual Leadership Symposium for Seasonal Attractions will be held on December 9, 2019, and hosted by “Christmas at Gaylord Palms” at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida. Gantom Lighting & Controls produces the Symposium in conjunction with Seasonal Entertainment Source Magazine. The theme of the 2019 event is “Communicating Intent.”

Communicating Intent

The need for seasonal attractions to differentiate is absolute, but the budget and timeframe can be suffocating. What if you could express the essence of your event quickly and efficiently to staff and customers? What if the creative team could work without management? The 2019 theme explores how attractions can communicate intent both internally and externally.

A Day of Intense Learning

The Symposium is an intense day of learning composed of speakers, workshop sessions, activities, and networking. During the workshop sessions, moderators lead attendees through exercises based on the speakers and themes. Attendees utilize a workbook throughout the day, assuring they go home with ways to apply the knowledge.

Christmas at Gaylord Palms

Christmas at Gaylord Palms will host the 2019 Symposium, and treat guests to exclusive talks with the creators and a tour of ICE! The iconic ‘ICE!’ takes place in an enclosed space of 18,000 square feet in a 9-degree environment filled with sculptures created from two million pounds of colored ice by 50 to 60 artists brought over from Harbin, China. The event includes two-story ice slides, shows, seasonal food, a concert series, Build-A-Bear Workshop®, retail shops, snow tubing, real snow, and much more to ensure guests are immediately enveloped in Christmas spirit.

TESTIMONY FROM THE 2018 LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM:
