There’s so much to see and do at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Accesso’s e-Commerce solution allows us to offer a more comprehensive look at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex experience to our guests using a more strategic approach that more effectively drives pre-arrival commitments.” — Kevin Quinlivan, Chief Information Officer, Delaware North
Orlando, FL, USA (March 11, 2014) – accesso (AIM:ACSO) has signed a three-year agreement with Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts at KSC, Inc. to provide e-Commerce and mobile ticketing support to the world-renowned Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
“Few places are as competitive as Central Florida when it comes to engaging visitors, and Accesso’s ticketing platform will allow us to better compete by helping increase our pre-arrival sales opportunities,” said Kevin Quinlivan, chief information officer for Delaware North.
accesso leverages an agile programming methodology which allows for frequent, ongoing software updates to ensure the solutions include the most advanced features available and to quickly deploy client-requested enhancements.
“When it comes to e-Commerce, every second counts and that’s why your ticketing solution has to revolve around principles that are similar to the service standards attractions employ in their own operation,” said Steve Brown, accesso chief operating officer for Europe and North America. “A flexible, efficient, user-friendly and secure ticketing engine ensures an optimum experience for online visitors and significantly enhances sales conversion.”
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts at KSC, Inc. operates for NASA, brings to life the epic story of the U.S. space program. Only 45 minutes from Orlando, Fla., Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers a full day or more of fun and educational activities, including the Kennedy Space Center Tour, the new Space Shuttle Atlantis, U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, Angry Birds Space Encounter, Shuttle Launch Experience, IMAX 3D space films, Astronaut Encounter, Exploration Space: Explorers Wanted and many other interactive exhibits.
