Adams Presidential Center is coming to the City of Quincy

On July 12, 2022 the City of Quincy, Massachusetts announced its plan to develop The Adams Presidential Center with Luci Creative as their exclusive exhibition design partner.

“We’re in the infant stages but we view it really as more of a place of civic engagement, a place to really get some educational experience about the history of our country.” Say City of Quincy Mayor, Thomas Koch.

The Adams Presidential Center (APC) will celebrate the lives and public service of John Adams, Abigail Adams, John Quincy Adams, and Louisa Catherine Adams. Their story is the coming-of-age tale of the United States of America and its Constitution. John and Abigail helped define the constitutional theory of late eighteenth-century America, while John Quincy and Louisa Catherine helped mold this theory into a living political system in the early nineteenth century. By engaging visitors in this history, the APC will invite them to consider how they can reshape our political system for the twenty-first century.

“We are humbled and honored to be chosen as a creative partner for such a significant project for the city of Quincy and the nation,” said AJ Goehle, CEO & Principal of Luci Creative. “Our teams, both in Chicago and in Boston, happen to be filled with history enthusiasts. The opportunity to develop an environment at the Adams Presidential Center that will educate, engage, and inspire visitors is exceptionally exciting,” Goehle added.

The undertaking of this project will be over seen by a new nonprofit foundation lead by General Joseph Dunford, USMC (ret.) as its chairman. “It seems particularly timely for us to go back to the Adams family right now as we grapple with the challenges of the 21st century broadly speaking, The Adams Presidential Center will preserve the history of a truly great American family that promote the concepts of citizenship and selfless public service,” General Dunford sates.
