Families are in for a real hoot as Anakeesta introduces BirdVenture, an aviary-inspired adventure zone that invites guests to immerse themselves in the whimsical world of Smoky Mountain birds. Designed for kids of all ages, this enchanting experience includes three vibrant, larger-than-life birdhouses, a dozen interactive adventure zones, and an exhilarating series of seven giant serpentine slides illuminated with captivating light features, winding more than 50 feet down the mountainside. These innovative slide paths, a first of their kind in the United States, promise a thrilling descent through the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Hellbender Smoky Mountain Coaster: A Heart-Pounding Descent
For adrenaline seekers, Anakeesta introduces the Hellbender Smoky Mountain Coaster. Named after the native Smoky Mountains salamander species, this double-rail mountain coaster promises a heart-pounding ride through a steep mountain incline, twisting turns, and breathtaking scenic views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The coaster will navigate guests down an exhilarating 3,350 feet of track, featuring 90-degree, 270-degree turns, and a 360-degree spin before returning to the summit of Anakeesta.
Astra Lumina Night Walk Expansion: Two new chapters
Anakeesta will introduce two exciting additions to their Astra Lumina night walk experience. Nebular Waves, a new installation, invites visitors to observe what happens when stars dream as they discover ethereal and undulating waves of light that washes over them. This moment creates the enchanting sensation of floating in time and space. Additionally, the existing installation Astral Genesis will also undergo enhancements this year with a new Astral feature illuminated by captivating light choreography, enhancing the overall immersive experience.
