  • Park Excellence Award: RES was nominated for the Park Excellence Award 2023 for Best Dark Ride with Media for the Conny-Land Vertical Dark Ride.

RES installed the Vertical Dark Ride called the Crazy Professor at Conny-Land Switzerland in April 2023. The Crazy Professor tells the story of a mad scientist that succeeds in defying gravity. Conny-Land carefully planned the interactive media experience and theming and constructed a new building to house the RES 20-meter Vertical Dark Ride.

The Crazy Professor comes to life through storytelling projected on a single large multimedia screen installed over different levels of the tower. As the story unfolds, guests are thrilled with multiple unexpected special effects and free-falls.

RES has a variety of tower rides that range from 50 passenger observation towers as tall as 75m, to tipping towers that move back and forth, side to side, rotate 360 degrees, and feature multiple drops. RES newest generation of drop towers deliver unexpected free-falls without giving any warning in advance of the drop, leaving riders surprised and thrilled. Multi Drop Towers offer additional free-falls per ride cycle by moving up and down the vertical track various times.

What’s New with RES

RES has some exciting current projects and new installations lined up for 2023:

  • New Ride Announced at IAAPA Expo Orlando – SkySeeker, a new ride combining swirling swings and interactivity. The suspended seats are balanced and supported to trigger seat rotations as they swing outside and gain speed. The harmonized movements, various speeds combined with the rotation makes this attraction unique.

SkySeeker was envisioned by Jaron Duivestein from Amusement-Rides.com and has been developed in cooperation with RES.

The ability to interactively stop the seat rotation at any time during the ride is optionally available.

  • Roller Ball Installation – RES will be installing the award-winning Roller Ball at Conny-Land, Switzerland. Delivery has already begun, and installation and opening will take place soon. This popular ride is a vertical coaster where the passengers experience a swinging sensation due to the acceleration and deceleration, combined with a free-fall feeling as the cars pass the vertical curves.
  • Oracle Installation – RES new ride, the Oracle is in production for the first time and is now available in a transportable version. The Oracle thrill-ride offers a multi-dimensional riding experience that is adaptable to all clientele. Four arms with 1 gondola and 4 seats each are connected in the middle by a horizontal crossbeam that rotates around the vertical axis of the centre.
  • Sunseeker – RES recently launched their exciting newest ride the Sunseeker. The Sunseeker is a high-capacity interactive multidimensional ride for the entire family. After boarding individual gondolas, rotation and lift begins around a central tower. Three arms of 4 gondolas each rotate and lift around the central tower when the gondolas on connecting arms begin rotating as a dual Ferris Wheel while the arms rotate around the central tower. The ride provides accessibility to passengers with physical disabilities, thanks to the optional wheelchair access. The Sunseeker is a perfect eye-catcher for theme parks and fairgrounds alike.
