BoldMove partners with Polymorph and Eye-Opener to collaborate on immersive experiences

BoldMove Nation announces its Immersive Theming & Media Group as a strategic partnership with Polymorph and Eye-Opener, extending its successful collaboration to create more immersive visitor experiences. By joining forces, the three partners offer a unique turnkey approach for themed rides and attractions, fully integrating media, design and production. For theme park and leisure venue owners this means a more streamlined process, saving time and costs without compromising on creativity. With these combined capabilities, the team will offer experience design as well as planning and theming for dark rides, water rides, coasters and park areas. By synchronizing physical and digital theming with technology components, parks can offer their visitors next-level immersive experiences throughout the entire attraction or themed area.

Their smart artificial intelligence applied in the gameplay engines brings fun for all players, yet without user complexity. With Eye-Opener founders Siemon Ariens and Lars van den Dungen it has been a natural fit since the first contact. Their team perfectly converts our creative ideas and designs into fitting decorations with quality materials, using innovative techniques.”

The three partners have already proven to be a successful collaboration in design, media and theming for the interactive dark ride Champi’Folies at Le PAL, France. The ride received 6 nominations across 3 industry awards – including best use of theming as finalist in the Park World Excellence Awards. Heavily themed scenes on a compact environment are combined with a multi-level gameplay and virtual scenes, resulting in a very immersive and fun all-family experience. The multilingual BoldMove team had a pivoting role handling ride design, creative theming and art direction, as well as overall project and account management. The ride concept is based on the original Smash & Reload concept by CEO and Captain of Creative Minds Benoit Cornet, who orchestrated the ride based on 25 years of dark ride expertise.

BoldMove has already developed innovative creative concepts for dark rides, flume rides, pre shows and themed indoor areas which include media attractions, playgrounds, shops and F&B. The team works around existing IPs like Marsupilami in Houba World, its proprietary TooMush IP, or custom IPs that fit the venue and audience.
