Following its announcement of a TEA THEA Award, the first to be presented to a German museum, the Deutschlandmuseum’s continues to receive international accolaides.
On Wednesday evening, March 6, the Deutschlandmuseum was honored by the World Travel Awards (WTA) in the category “Europe’s Leading New Tourist Attraction 2024”. The award recognizes the Berlin museum as the best new tourist attraction in Europe.
The award acknowledges the innovative approach of the Deutschlandmuseum, which allows visitors to “immerse” themselves in recreated places and events from the past 2,000 years of German history through its immersive and interactive design. Through this approach, various dimensions of German history become visually, auditorily, and tactilely experiential.
