Euro Disney CEO Philippe Gas to Address SATE 2012

Burbank, CA, USA — TEA is pleased to announce that Philippe Gas will address and welcome the SATE 2012 delegates on Sept 19, at the opening reception for the conference at Disneyland Paris.

Philippe Gas has been Chief Executive Officer of Euro Disney S.A.S. since September 2008. In this role he also manages Euro Disney S.C.A. and Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. Philippe has gained extensive experience from around the world, having worked for twenty years for both Euro Disney and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts.

He first joined Disney in 1991 as a Financial Controller, and was a resort opening crew member. Over the next six years, he held a variety of positions at the resort. It was in 1997 that he was promoted to Director of Corporate Compensation, and this involved him relocating to the headquarters of The Walt Disney Company in Burbank, California.

In 2000, he became Regional Vice President of Human Resources for The Walt Disney Company Asia-Pacific. In this role he oversaw the human resources strategy for thirteen countries in Asia. At the time he lived in Tokyo and then Hong Kong.

In 2004, he returned to Disneyland Paris as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, and was responsible for all human resource issues concerning the 12,000 Cast Members. He then became Senior Vice President of International Human Resources for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts in 2005. One year later he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts worldwide. In this role, he was responsible for the human resources strategy and operations for nearly 100,000 Cast Members.
