Huis Ten Bosch reveals new Christmas illumination experience and expanded holiday scale for decor

Huis Ten Bosch, the theme park resort in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, will unveil The Starlight Million on Friday, November 6 – a completely reimagined immersive illumination experience and the first major renewal of its award-winning illumination in 16 years. The illumination has been recognized as Japan’s No.1 for 13 consecutive years. Launching on the same day is European Holy Christmas, the resort’s largest-ever European Christmas celebration.

The Starlight Million is a new immersive illumination experience where dazzling stars, symbolizing hopes and wishes, blend with the resort’s European townscape. Designed to immerse guests beneath a sky filled with countless stars, its scale transforms the experience from simply admiring the illuminations to stepping into a magical world where it feels as though they are walking among the stars.

Beginning on Friday, November 6, European Holy Christmas returns on a grander scale. Throughout the resort, festive decorations will create an enchanting Christmas setting where ornaments stretch as far as the eye can see. Guests will once again be welcomed by the resort’s iconic Grand Chandelier Tree, Japan’s only crystal-adorned Christmas tree of its kind, radiating dazzling brilliance.
