InfoComm 2021 to include exhibit floor, prep courses & 5K

This October, InfoComm is back in person. This pro AV industry trade show will take over the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, on Oct. 23-29. Produced by AVIXA, InfoComm is the place to see the latest audiovisual technology solutions, learn skills and grow professional networks.

The show will spotlight solutions and technologies in the world of AV. Throughout the trade show floor at exhibitor booths and in education sessions, attendees can explore conferencing and collaboration; content, production, and streaming; digital signage, learning, live events, audio, and much more.

D=SIGN, the digital signage conference, will take place as two half-day programs on Oct. 26-27. Produced in partnership with the Digital Signage Federation (DSF), the conference will explore the solutions, innovations and big ideas around digital signage, such as:

  • Selecting the Right Technologies to Get the Metrics That Matter
  • Smart Content: How to Use AI, Machine Learning, Sensors & More to Trigger Content Changes
  • Security & Privacy – What it Means for Your Digital Signage Network

InfoComm attendees can stop by the Technology Innovation Stage for bite-sized insights into the latest technology advancements and applications on Wednesday through Friday on the trade show floor at booth 1961. These free sessions will feature product announcements and demonstrations, New Technology Lightning Rounds highlighting the most exciting new products at InfoComm 2021, a state of the industry presentation from AVIXA’s market intelligence team and more.

The show is also a great opportunity for AV professionals to prepare for the Certification Technology Specialist (CTS) exam. For more than 30 years, AVIXA has administered the CTS program, which is recognized as the leading AV professional credential. There are three CTS credentials: general (CTS), design (CTS-D), and installation (CTS-I). On Oct. 23-25, InfoComm will host 3-day prep courses for CTS, CTS-I, and CTS-D. AV pros can also take the exam at the show Oct. 26-28.

InfoComm 2021 will have many opportunities to network at events like the Tech Managers Forum; the Independent Technical Services, Systems Integrators and Consultants Councils Reception; Young AV Reception; Women’s Council Breakfast; Live Events Forum; and Reception and the Diversity Council Networking event.

The AVIXA team is also excited for the return of the AVIXA Foundation 5K taking place Thursday, Oct. 28 at 6 a.m. Proceeds from the 5K will go toward fulfilling the AVIXA Foundation’s mission of attracting and developing students for careers in AV.
