For one weekend this month, from January 11-12, SeaWorld San Antonio invites guests to Inside Look, a special behind-the-scenes view into the habitats of animals, including orcas, sea lions, sharks, penguins, tortoises, and dolphins, as well as presentations by curators of the animal department and playful interactions with skilled trainers. The park’s Animal Ambassador Team will also make appearances around the park with terrestrial animals, like an American bald eagle and alligators, each with rescue stories. Inside Look is included with guests’ park tickets.
As part of the event, SeaWorld has created locations throughout the park where parkgoers can get an “inside look” into the animal habitats and learn about the park’s mission, world-class animal care and conservation and rescue efforts. Guests will be able to go behind the scenes and hear talks from animal care specialists on beluga whales, sharks, sea lions, sting rays and penguins to name a few. New this year is an exclusive presentation, Questions with the Curators, an in-depth discussion at Sea Star Theater with the leadership team of the Zoological department. In addition, this year’s event features an Expert Explorer Scavenger Hunt, where guests can pick up a scavenger hunt booklet and visit select locations to decipher a secret word. Once the scavenger hunt is completed, explorers will return to rescue headquarters to redeem a commemorative SeaWorld trading pin.
