Seven Peaks Renames Utah Fun Centers

Orem, UT, USA /BUSINESS WIRE/ — Seven Peaks, a leader in family entertainment and recreation, announced that it has officially changed the name of Trafalga Fun Center in Orem and Lehi to Seven Peaks Fun Center Orem™ and Seven Peaks Fun Center Lehi™. The transition comes on the heels of the recent launch of the new company website at www.sevenpeaks.com, where visitors can now explore all Seven Peaks properties and purchase tickets, including the popular Pass of all Passes™, with greater ease.

“The Seven Peaks name has become synonymous with wholesome, active and affordable family entertainment,” said Gary Brinton, CEO of Seven Peaks. “The Fun Centers are no exception, which is why we believe the name change is appropriate. When someone thinks of fun for the whole family, we want them to think of Seven Peaks.”

The Trafalga name originated in the 1970s with the creation of the Fun Center in Orem. Seven Peaks acquired that Fun Center in 1999. When Seven Peaks purchased Liberty Land in Lehi in June 2010, they changed the name to Trafalga Lehi. Now that Seven Peaks owns a total of four Fun Centers, including the recent acquisitions of Seven Peaks Fun Center Sandyin February 2012 and Seven Peaks Fun Center Poplar Bluff in Missouri in May 2012, it was time to put all of the Fun Center venues under the Seven Peaks name to eliminate confusion. The company plans to continue its expansion into fun centers and water parks as opportunities arise.

With the announcement of the Fun Center renaming, Seven Peaks also announced that it has launched a new website, which integrates with the company’s state-of-the-art, automated ticketing system. With the new website, visitors can more easily find what they’re looking for online and purchase what they want more efficiently, saving them time. The site also includes a robust content management system to enable company employees to quickly and easily add new venues as needed.
