TAIT, the global group of designers, fabricators, engineers, and innovators for live and location-based experiences, announced that Butch Allen has joined the company as Vice President, Global Project Development. Allen will focus on deepening relationships and bringing a creative approach to a broad range of markets and product portfolio.
“We see great value in the 30-plus years of industry experience, relationships, and creativity Butch brings to the TAIT team,” said Gemma Hodgson, SVP Global Business Development at the TAIT Group. “From his beginnings as a concert roadie to roles in lighting and production design, he has worked at nearly every level of the industry and will leverage that vast and transferrable skillset to connect artists and teams to the TAIT Group’s product and service offerings.”
An award-winning industry veteran, Allen is known as an innovator in live experiences. Some of his more prominent work includes Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Dancing with the Stars Live, America’s Got Talent Live, Ozzy Osbourne, and Black Sabbath. His experience also comprises many years of collaboration with TAIT. Allen’s recent projects with TAIT include Tears for Fears, New Kids on the Block and Eric Church.
