Technical Multimedia Design, Inc (TechMDinc), an engineering and design firm specializing in audio, video, control, and networking systems for the themed entertainment and attractions industry, is adding lighting and rigging systems engineering and integration services to its repertoire of services.
With the hiring of key personnel – Kurt Schnabel as Principal, Lighting and Michael Jonas, Engineer, Lighting and Rigging – TechMDinc can offer lighting system integration and rigging/installation services immediately.
Schnabel is an experienced designer with over twenty years of industry experience, providing integrated solutions for theatrical productions, special events, corporate theater, and architectural installations. Schnabel has managed installations at institutions ranging from single offices to major museums and has designed themed environments for both private companies and public venues along with implementing projects for broadcast studios, houses of worship, performing arts centers, municipal buildings, universities and arenas.
Jonas brings extensive construction and entertainment experience to this new area of service at TechMDinc. Jonas is a licensed, certified ETC rigging provider and provides expert level service and support after project installations. Jonas’ experience with audio, video, lighting and rigging systems design and installation make him an asset to TechMDinc across multiple disciplines.
