Orlando, FL, USA — Great Coasters International (GCI) announced Back Track, a family wooden shuttle coaster at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando. The ride, similar in concept to the Vekoma Boomerang, are pulled backwards up a platform, then launch forward through the course. Once at the other end, trains retrace their tracks, this time in reverse. At this time, no parks have been announced for the new concept.
