InPark Magazine recently participated in a two-day media event at the Walt Disney World Resort, showcasing new interactive technologies, the continuing transformation of Epcot, Epcot’s new Connections Eatery, and the park’s newest attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Part 1 features a look at the new MagicBand+ with Gina McCarter, Ashley Murray, and Imagineer Asa Kalama and Hey Disney!, the company’s co-venture with Amazon Alexa, introduced by J.C. Diaz.
Chef Katie shares a few of the delectable 50th Anniversary food items now available in the Magic Kingdom. Then it’s off to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for dinner on the set of the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular with a welcome from Walt Disney World Resort President Jeff Vahle, followed by a dessert reception in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, celebrating Star Wars Day, May the Fourth.
Part 2 looks at the continuing transformation of Epcot, including the new Connections Eatery and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, with Imagineers Zach Riddley, Brianna Pfost, and Evan Miga. It concludes with a preview of the new ride and photos from a media reception, hosted by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chair Josh D’Amaro.
