WEEKEND VIEWING: New starts at zoos and aquariums

 

July was a big month for zoos and aquariums, including the announcement of an Executive Director for the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station and the opening of a major expansion and exhibit area at the Oakland Zoo. In this edition of Weekend Viewing, InPark Editor Judith Rubin interviews the talent behind the St Louis Aquarium at its November 2017 groundbreaking, while InPark News Editor Joe Kleiman takes us on a tour of the $70 million California Trail at the Oakland Zoo on its opening day.
