Comedienne and Actress Phyllis Diller Dead at 95

Brentwood, CA, USA (August 20, 2012) — Phyllis Diller, the groundbreaking comedienne who went on to a prolific career in television, film, Broadway, and books, has passed away of natural causes.   Her Los Angeles Times obituary can be found here.

In the late 1960’s, a Phyllis Diller marionette was included as part of Tony Urbano’s puppet show at the Universal Studios Tour.  Ms Diller recorded dialogue for the figure.  It currently resides in the collection of the International Puppetry Museum in Pasadena, CA, USA.
