Connect&GO selected as ticketing and access control technology provider for Montréal Tower

Connect&GO, provider of Attraction Management Systems, announced that it has been awarded the contract to deliver ticketing and access control technology for the Montréal Tower at the Olympic Park (La Tour de Montréal), following a competitive public Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

An architectural icon and cultural beacon, the Tower is being reimagined as one of Quebec’s premier tourist destinations with a target of welcoming 400,000 visitors annually. Closed since 2020, it will begin its commercial rollout in Fall 2026, with a grand opening slated for Spring 2027.

“To be selected for such a symbol of Montreal’s skyline is a tremendous honor,” said Dominic Gagnon, CEO of Connect&GO. “This is more than just a contract – it’s a responsibility to elevate a legacy site that holds meaning far beyond our city.”

From Metro to Skyline: A reimagined guest journey

The guest journey begins at home, supported by integrated sales channels designed to drive conversion and maximize accessibility. From booking to arrival, Connect&GO ensures guests experience a smooth, connected path to the Tower.

Upon arrival, guests will ascend via a fully glazed funicular, offering both architectural innovation and breathtaking views of Montreal.

“What makes this project so exciting is the complexity,” Gagnon added. “From urban transit to the top of the tower, Connect&GO’s role is to make the entire journey feel effortless – for guests and for operators.”

Smart technology for a dynamic pricing model

The Olympic Park is currently exploring a combination of partner offers and bundled packages to support its premium market positioning. Connect&GO’s platform will provide the tools needed to manage these strategies.

“Operators today need more than a ticketing system – they need tools to adapt to guest behavior, optimize revenue, and create curated experiences with confidence,” said Gagnon.

The venue’s upgraded offering includes food and beverage experiences, outdoor terrace access, and dramatic glass floors, all of which position the Tower as a premium experience within the tourism market.

Built for the realities of operation

The Montreal Tower will operate on a flexible schedule of up to 6.5 days per week, with Monday morning closures for maintenance and a full January shutdown for annual servicing. Connect&GO’s platform is engineered to adapt to these rhythms, minimizing downtime while providing real-time data visibility and operational confidence throughout the year.

A Montreal icon, reborn

The Montréal Tower was built in 1987, eleven years after the 1976 Olympic Games. Today, it remains the tallest inclined tower and with this reinvention, it’s being repositioned as a world-class cultural destination for both local residents and international visitors.

“We’re not just joining the skyline,” Gagnon concluded. “We’re becoming part of a legacy. That’s incredibly meaningful to our entire team.”
