EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Community Manager, Cosm

Cosm is seeking a US-based community manager to work with our our in-house immersive storytelling R&D lab and creator community. In this role you will be responsible for growing and fostering a dynamic community of interdisciplinary artists, creators. and experience designers. The role demands a unique individual who understands the meaning of authentic relationship and community building. You will need to be a curator, a creator and a conduit all in one with the ability to listen to the needs of the community and help them realize their visions utilizing Cosm’s technology and resources. As part of this process, identifying compelling stories behind each of the creators and the ability to bring those stories to life across social media platforms in a way that elevates their work will be critical.

Working with Cosm’s VP of Brand & Community, you will be responsible for daily community interactions, designing engagement programs and working with strategic partners across the immersive ecosystem including conferences, educational institutions, museums and industry bodies. You will also be responsible for managing the lab’s social media presence and facilitating thought leadership events both virtually and offline. You will also work closely with Cosm’s in-house full-dome immersive production studio to help bring community conceived projects to life.
