Following the unveiling of Digistar 2025 at this year’s International Planetarium Society Conference in Berlin, Cosm, immersive technology, media, and entertainment company, announced it will hold a special community launch event showcase the new features and benefits of Digistar 2025, the next rendition of the planetarium software, which will be made available to customers in January 2025. On December 5 at 9 a.m. MT / 16:00 UTC, Cosm invites its global community of planetarium partners to get a first-hand look at Digistar 2025’s advancements, such as enhanced visuals and playback capabilities, seamless access to the latest scientific data, and powerful tools designed to inspire and educate audiences.
Participants in the community launch event will be treated to an in-depth look into new and impactful features, such as the integration of Cosm’s Multi-Sync Engine – used in Cosm’s immersive venues – which simplifies the creation of immersive fulldome experiences blending multiple video sources, audio feeds, and real-time graphics. Additionally, Digistar 2025’s shift to a yearly release cycle ensures users will always have access to the latest innovations, empowering them to continually enhance their programming, drive deeper community engagement, and inspire future generations.
