This FEC is a testament to what can be achieved when all parts of the experience are brought together;  from the initial concept design to the attraction development, media and software integration all created and managed by the same experienced company, ensuring a much higher level of quality and greater creative impact. This will be the most focused and integrated FEC experience ever delivered, with the attractions inspired by our much larger E-Ticket theme park division but presented using our scalable In-Mo™ platform, ensuring each ride is optimized for the best quality within the FEC parameters of limited space and value-driven budgets. We will even bring to life the food court area of the facility with the world’s first projection mapped and AR feature wall, depicting a mythical and ever evolving real-time scene, which unveils hidden surprises and storytelling action when viewed through the accompanying augmented reality app. We have also developed four VIP Dinning areas where each table has unique characters and an amusing story that unfolds bringing your dining experience to life via table projection mapping from above.” — Stuart Hetherington, CEO of Holovis
Shanghai, China — The People’s Square D Mall in Shanghai, China, has announced the development of a state of the art FEC solution. Mythos Adventure Park will present visitors and shoppers with a thrilling array of next-generation immersive experiences, focusing on media and motion based simulation games in immersive 2D and 3D, complemented with exciting interactivity and Augmented Reality (AR). Holovis Attractions has won the complete turnkey contract to design, build and deliver the FEC in partnership with Shanghai Liuyu Investment Company.

The turn-key contract within the 2,000 square meter site includes all attractions, FEC systems, CGI and interactive gaming content from the Holovis Media team. Plus a completely new attraction which is a China first; a projection mapping show linked with real-time interactive augmented reality.

The 3D attractions include a Holovis Mini ImmersiveTunnel; a 12 person experience with three rows of four motion seats surrounded by a 180° curved screen and a 3D immersive film. A Holovis interactive ImmersiveTheatre with 12 motion seats and real-time interactive 3D gaming delivered on a curved display that wraps around the audience, alongside a two person MotionDome presenting the combination of 360° visuals perfectly synched with organic motion and gaming interactivity which puts guests right into the heart of the story.

For the ultimate immersive driving experience, four Holovis driving rigs are set up with motion bases and Oculus Rift headset devices to propel people into an intense and highly accurate motorsport alternative reality.

All media and gaming is exclusively delivered by the Holovis Media team built in real-time which provides a different experience each time depending on the paths riders choose to take and ensures increased rider repeatability. Games from the Holovis Dome Rider series will feature, including The Lost Cove and Jungle Crisis, with other titles under development that will premiere at Mythos Adventure Park.

The interactivity within all attractions is delivered using Holovis’s proprietary InterAct™ platform Version 3, featuring the company’s own unique laser-based interactive devices. Holovis has developed a unique way of ensuring highly accurately interactivity across complex spaces and onto complex surfaces, something not previously achieved in this entertainment segment.

The center will open to the public in the early summer of 2016.
